Good morning people who kept your posture of a learning child of God.

Luke 10:21-22 NIV At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

You can’t think your way into heaven. You can’t study yourself into truth. You can’t impress God by how much you know.

Revelation is essential, and revelation is released from heaven to those who keep a humble childlike posture towards the heavenly Father.

The curse of this age is the spirit of ‘enlightenment’. A belief that we know best is at the core of the increasing evil and perversion that far too many are embracing.

I read an interesting and revealing scripture this morning that makes this point so clear.

Deuteronomy 12:8 NKJV You shall not at all do as we are doing here today—every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes.

Who sets your agenda and who establishes your truth – is it you or is it God?

‘Truth’ that does not originate in God is harmful and unloving. It is evil and it is demonic. It is born out of an arrogant and self-focused will. It is what caused an archangel to turn into the devil. It is what defiles many today.

May we be people of the light, people of the truth, and people of a humble and teachable heart towards God. When this is our heart orientation, God will reveal His truth – the only truth – to us.
