#5428 – Speak the Truth

Good morning people who do not fail to speak the truth of God’s Word.

Ephesians 4:14-15 NIV Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

These two verses say a lot and contain so much truth that is needed today.

There are an increasing number of “Christians” and “Christian leaders” whose sole focus is on ‘speaking in love.’ By this, they mean ‘speaking what people want to hear.’ Of course, this is not what they would say.

But the fruit doesn’t lie.

If what we speak is contrary to the Word of God, then we are not ‘speaking the truth in love.’

And because truth cannot be separated or different than love, when we speak what is contrary to the Word of God, we are not even ‘speaking in love.’ We are perpetuating the problem and we are doing the devil’s work for him!

If it’s not biblical, then it is not truth, and nor is it love. I can’t make it plainer than this.

It’s time for a realignment for many in the body of Christ back to a full measure of truth and a full measure of love. Anything less of either is error.

Please come back tomorrow for something important that needs to be said on this.
