If we are comparing ourselves to others, it’s because we are not seeing God accurately.

If we are compromising in sin, it’s because we are not seeing God accurately.

The church is built on our view of God.

Our lives are transformed by our view of God.

The lost are saved by their view of God.

1 John 3:1-2 NIV See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

Today, I encourage you to make the prayer of your heart, “Father, open my eyes to see You as You truly are.”
