Good morning people who fight with the God’s Word

Jesus is the Son of God. He is our perfect model and example of how to live. He lived life facing all the temptations and trials that we face yet He was without sin. As we read the Bible, we are given a clear example of how we should live. Here’s how Jesus lived life well.

Matthew 4:4a, 7a, 10b Jesus answered, “It is written…”

We must understand the power of these words. Jesus did not just rely upon knowledge or wisdom or philosophy or common-sense. No, Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, Saviour of the world went through life dependent upon the Word of God. He actually was the Word made flesh (John 1:14) and He also lived by declaring the Word of God.

Our authority and power can only come when we live by what God’s Word says. The authority of the Word of God is under threat in these times and once we start debating God’s Word and making it more palatable to us and our society, all power is lost. If we diminish the authority of God’s Word even a little, then all authority is lost.

What is your conviction about God’s Word? Is it infallible? Is it completely inspired? Is there a principle in God’s Word for every situation you will ever face? Do you fight the enemy with the power of God’s Word? Do you face life’s challenges with the authority of God’s Word? Do you know God’s Word? Do you meditate on it? Do you draw your wisdom and understanding from it?
