#5236 – Greater than Delays

Good morning people who are waiting for your healing.

Jesus healed all who came to Him who were sick and asked to be healed. There were no exceptions. Jesus was greater than sickness!

And yet many of us are waiting for our healing, for our miracle. I am personally believing for healing for some long-standing medical conditions.

One of these is poor eyesight. I’ve had a rare eye condition since birth. From this weakened starting position, now as I am getting older, the normal aging deterioration to my eyes has resulted in my inability to drive and a bleak prognosis for the future.

So, what do we do with this delay in what Jesus paid for?

Most importantly, we stay in faith. Believing for a period of time is wonderful, but staying in faith and believing even if we don’t see the healing on this of the grave is one of the things God is looking for.

I don’t understand why I am not healed. Maybe you don’t either. But God can heal me, and I believe this is His desire.

Therefore, I declare healing over myself. I declare that by Jesus’ stripes I am healed. I lay hands on my eyes and speak truth! I personally declare in faith and I also receive prayer from others.

But I don’t make it the greatest focus of my life. I am blessed in so many ways and God is doing good things in me and through me!

I also pray for other people to be healed. We praise God that recently He has healed many as we have prayed for them. I boldly declare healing over other people’s eyes too, even while I am waiting for my own miracle. And when people are healed, I celebrate greatly!

Today, may I encourage you to stay in faith and to keep praying for others, even in your own delay. I know that Father is glorified when we do both of these wonderful things while we are waiting.
