Good morning people who are from another time and another place.

John 17:14-16 NIV “I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.”

We are not of this world (kosmos) any more than Jesus is of this world! This is not our home.

To help you meditate on this empowering truth, here are some scriptures. Take your time and ask the Father to speak to you. May it release life into your heart today.

Hebrews 11:13-16 NIV All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Psalms 139:16 NIV Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Ephesians 1:4a NIV For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight…

Anything that exists in the mind of God is a reality. It may be spiritual, but don’t believe that is not a reality. In fact, it is a greater reality!

We existed in the mind of God before we were conceived; in fact, before the creation of the world. Therefore, we are just passing through this brief period of time on earth.

Here’s my conclusion to us on this today: If you live feeling like something is missing, it might just be a revelation, awareness and life-focus that this kosmos is not our home.

Heaven is our home.
