Good morning people who have a generous and loving heavenly Father.

John 17:7-8 NIV “Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.”

When Jesus repeats something continuously, He really wants us to understand a deep truth that is life-changing. And once again, I see this in Jesus’ words as He prayed to His Father for His disciples.

Jesus was not content for people to just believe in and accept Him. I want you to hear this today. Jesus is the way – absolutely – but He is the way to His Father!

In these two verses, Jesus states several times that His disciples had received revelation that He came from His Father and the words Jesus spoke came from His Father.

Father, please show us what You want us to see here today.

The result of our lives should not just be that people accept Jesus, as essential as this is. The result of our lives is that people accept Jesus, and together with Him and us, we all go together to the Father!

When we speak, our words should originate from our Father in heaven. If this sounds a bit much, it’s not! This is how it was always intended to be.

Remember, Adam & Eve literally walked with Father in the cool of the day and He spoke to them. This is what we are invited into!
