Good morning people who don’t reduce God down to our level of understanding.

John 16:16 NIV Jesus went on to say, “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

Sometimes when God says something will happen in a little while, He means something different than what we are thinking. Let’s be honest here.

Timing in God is a big deal. Yes, the will of God is important, but so too is the timing of God.

In fact, I would say that many believers have struggled a lot when it comes to the issue of understanding the timing of God. Many disappointments are traced back to a wrong view of God’s timing more than a wrong view of God’s will.

Even Jesus’ disciples struggled when He talked about timing. We are in good company.

Here’s the question I feel to ask you today by way of encouragement:

Can you trust God with His timing as well as His will?

The reason why this is a word of encouragement is because a confidence in God’s timing will result in an increased freedom in your heart.

You can trust God my friend, not only to do what He says, but also to do what He says when you don’t understand His timing.
