Good morning people who see Jesus through the revelation from the Holy Spirit.

John 14:19 NIV “Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.”

Yes, we will see Jesus at the second coming, but in the context of this scripture, Jesus is telling us that we will see Him as a result of the Holy Spirit coming and being with us and living in us.

One of the primary roles of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Jesus to us.

As we read the holy scriptures that were breathed into existence by the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit reveals the truth about the Truth to us. The Holy Spirit takes the stories and the words and reveals Jesus more accurately to us.

One of those truths is that we live because Jesus lives. I think it would be good to think about this today.

If Jesus hadn’t risen from the dead, we would still be dead in our sins. If Jesus stayed dead, we would have stayed dead.

But Jesus rose from the dead! Jesus conquered death, sin and the grave! Jesus defeated the devil and every principality and power of darkness!

Jesus is alive, and that is why we now have eternal life!
