Good morning people who Jesus wants to be with forever.

John 14:3 NIV “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Jesus doesn’t have to do anything. He doesn’t get forced against His will when it comes to you and me.

When He says that He will come back and take us to be with Him, He means what He says.

But the most wonderful part is that He tells us why He is going to do this:

“That you also may be where I am.”

In other words, I hear Jesus saying, “I’m going to prepare a marvellous home for you in My Father’s house. It’s going to be glorious! And when it’s time, I will come back and I will take you to be with Me. Why? Because I want you to be where I am! This is My desire. This is My passion. You are My desire. You are My passion. I delight in you.”

Some people may not really like you, but God most surely does. Some people may not tolerate you. I would say God does, but that’s not true – He doesn’t tolerate you, He celebrates you!

Living forever and ever and ever in the home of God who wants us with Him – it doesn’t get better than that.
