#5106 – Praise the Lord

Good morning people who were created to praise and glorify God.

Sometimes our daily approach to God is purely needs based. Sometimes we come to Him just to ask Him to do something for us. Sometimes we come just to complain at what He hasn’t done.

And so today, I want to keep this very simple. Let’s make our focus today on praising God. That’s it – praise the Lord.

We have so much to be grateful for! Yes, we have challenges – some of them seem insurmountable – it is true for you and it is true for me.

And it will always be true, therefore, our praise must not be circumstantial.

Why?

Because, like the apostle Paul testified over and over again, God is worthy of our praise and our rejoicing in Him regardless of the prison we find ourselves in or the problems that we are walking through. God is still present with us, and this should be reason enough to get our praise on!

Psalms 150:1-6 NIV Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
