Good morning people who believe that Jesus overcame all the power of the devil.

1 John 3:8 NIV The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

Yes, Jesus came to bring eternal life to mankind – absolutely. And it was God’s love that drove this mission.

But it is also true that Jesus came to destroy the devil’s work! Praise God!

And this is exactly what He did on the cross of Calvary! Sin was defeated and so was the devil. His legal reign on earth was ended by the blood of Jesus Christ!

Therefore, our starting position as followers of Jesus Christ is victory! Oh, I am convinced that most of what we are working towards and waiting for is already ours through the life, death and resurrection of our Lord and King!

The devil is no match for a submitted son or daughter of our Heavenly Father – none whatsoever!

Here’s a truth that I pray ignites with holy fire in your spirit today:

James 4:7 NIV Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

It’s time to start living from victory, not for victory. It just might make all the difference.
