Good morning people who keep an eternal view of the effort that is required.

The Lord has more to say about fixing our eyes on Jesus and about setting our mind on things above.

The dictionary further defines the word fixing as two things:

Fixing: ‘the action of repairing’

Fixing: ‘the action of fastening something into place’

Fixing is an action, not a feeling. Oh, how we need to understand this.

Warriors in the Spirit are not those who are so robotic that they don’t have feelings or thoughts to overcome. They feel the same as others. They think the same as others.

But they refuse to camp there; to stay there and set up permanent residence there!

They know that this too shall pass. They know that they are simply passing through this life and that heaven is their home.

And so they set about setting their minds on who God is and on what God has said. They are disciplined when they don’t feel like it. They put on their armour when they would rather sit down and give up. This is what warriors do.

What action do you need to take today in order to stand strong in the Lord and in His mighty power?
