Good morning people who walk with the God who is completely trustworthy.

1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

I love the focus of this verse above.

The starting point of this verse is a comment that every person will face temptations. No one is exempt; not you and not me.

But then the focus completely shifts from our moments of temptation to God’s assurance of His faithfulness.

If God declares something, it is true. When God declares He will do something, He will do it. If God declares He will not let something happen, He will be faithful to His Word and not let it happen.

It is time for us to lift our eyes from our lack to God’s faithful provision, including God providing a way to escape every temptation. If it were not possible, God wouldn’t have said it.

But what do we do if we give into this temptation and seem to step away from God’s faithfulness?
