Good morning people whose sufficiency is in Jesus Christ.
Father, I thank You for contentment in You.
Philippians 4:12-13 NIV I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:12-13 TPT I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.
Contentment = Through Christ.
Thank You Father that my strength originates in You, not in me. And it is released in my life through my partnership with Your Son Jesus.
I’m also grateful that my contentment is found in my focus on You. When You have my attention more than what I am going through has my attention, true contentment is the result.
As I type this and mediate on it, I realise more and more that everything I need – with no exceptions – finds its origin in You.
I am so thankful that I have You Father.
