#4853 – Glorious Power

Good morning people who walk in the limitless power of the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 1:10-12 NIV So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

The third way Paul tells us we can please God is to be strengthened with all power according to God’s glorious might.

Oh, for an increased revelation of the power that is available to every submitted follower of Jesus Christ!

In Ephesians 1:19-20, Paul tells us that the power available to us who believe is the same power that raised Christ from the dead! It’s not a lesser power; it’s the same power!

And that power is the Holy Spirit himself! He is the power of God! He is able to do exceedingly above and beyond all that we can ask or even imagine! This is the power of God who lives in us!

And the power is given so that we may have great endurance and patience. Please hear this.

When we live in the power of God, even when our own strength is failing, we live a life worthy of the Lord and pleasing to Him. Shrinking back and giving up does not honour God, but perseverance by the power of the Holy Spirit does, because it declares, “God I can’t, but You can, and I trust You!”
