Good morning people who walk with your ever-present God.

Psalms 23:5 NIV You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

We want God to prepare His banqueting table for us in the presence of peaceful tranquility. Sometimes He does.

But often, He prepares a table of delight for us in the presence of our enemies.

Why is this?

I believe it is a declaration that God’s presence and God’s presents are infinitely greater than any enemy in our lives!

I believe it is a declaration to the enemy that, despite his best efforts of sabotage, God is doing more in our lives than the devil could ever do!

I believe it is a declaration to the world that, although we walk through the darkest valleys and the devil comes against us, God Himself is our shepherd, is leading us, is refreshing us, is restoring us, is with us, and is doing us good!

If you are in the presence of some enemies, don’t forget to give your greater attention to the table that God is preparing for you!
