Good morning people who are led into deep refreshing by God.

Psalms 23:2-3 NIV He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

The Holy Spirit has drawn my attention to the truth that ‘he refreshes my soul’ is found in between ‘he leads me’ and ‘he guides me’. Don’t miss the significance of this.

We cannot have a deep and supernatural refreshing in our soul if we are not being led and guided by the Holy Spirit. Yet too many people want one without the other.

There is no true peace, joy or contentment outside of being in the will of God. And being in the will of God means that we are following the leading of the Spirit of God.

This is not control – this is God’s good, perfect and pleasing will and order.

Put another way, the refreshing of God is often experienced in the absence of internal conflict, not in the absence of difficult circumstances. This is profound!

So, do you want God to refresh your soul today?
