Good morning people who run to God in times of difficulty.

Matthew 5:4 NIV Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Mourn: ‘to grieve’

Comforted: ‘to draw near’

When we are at our lowest, it is an opportunity to experience God at His closest.

In times of grief, what we lean into will appear larger.

Difficulty is not the time to run towards a temporary fix or a distracting band-aid. Using something to cover the pain will not result in healing and wholeness.

God alone is who we need. Yes, people can (and should) help us walk towards God, but that is the destination; towards God.
