Good morning people who are grateful that we can all access God’s grace

How does God see equality?

We all have equal opportunity to enter into relationship with God the Father, by grace, through faith. This cannot happen without repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Equality does not mean that whatever you do is ok with God. The legitimacy of something is connected to whether God authored it or not.

Acts 10:11-15 NIV He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

Acts 10:34-35 NIV Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”

The question is not, “Do you think something is clean and right?”

The question is, “Has God declared something to be clean and right?”

Luke 5:31-32 NIV Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Jesus has not just called sinners to grace, but to repentance. This is the beauty of true equality and freedom is the result.
