#4728 – Focus on Encouragement

Good morning people who focus on encouraging others forward in God

Acts 16:40 NIV After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia’s house, where they met with the brothers and sisters and encouraged them. Then they left.

Paul and Silas had just been stripped, severely beaten, and put in the most inner part of the prison in stocks.

Yet on the day of their release, they are focused on encouraging the other brothers and sisters. WOW! What a focus!

What is our focus when we emerge from a dark and difficult time of testing, trials and suffering?

Is our focus on what we have been through, or is it on what God wants to say and do in other people’s lives?

God’s intention right now is not to trivialise what any person has or is going through. I believe He wants to be our ever present help in times of trouble and pain.

But He also is looking for some people whose focus doesn’t remain on the challenge, but on what God is still doing. God wants us to allow ourselves to be a conduit for His encouragement through us, yes, even as we are going through or emerging from deep challenges.

I believe that you can be a great encouragement to someone today. I pray you will an expression of God’s heart.
