#4640 – Wild Faith

Good morning people who are willing to step into the uncomfortable

Hebrews 11:30 NIV By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.

In our lives, we would love this verse to read like this:

‘By faith the walls of Jericho fell!!’

At this point, we want to dance and yell and shout, “Praise God!” We want to stand still and see God do the miracle – straight away and without any effort from us would be even better.

But this is not the entirety of the verse above, and nor is it often the way God works in our lives either.

‘By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.

By faith the miracle happened after…and not just after a brief moment by the Israelites…after marching around a wall, in silence, for seven days, and then shouting, and all of this looking like crazy people!!

Don’t let your pride or focus on self keep you from your miracle. Naaman almost did, and almost didn’t receive his miracle of healing from leprosy (2 Kings 5).

As you pray for the supernatural, if God says to do something, do it.
