Good morning people who move through the moments of doubt

Hebrews 11:11 NIV And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.

This verse says, ‘by faith even Sarah’.

Why does it say even Sarah, as if this was a surprise to the writer of Hebrews?

Due to the natural realities of her life, Sarah had a moment of doubt when God spoke to her husband Abraham. Many times we can falsely believe that a moment of doubt disqualifies us on this faith journey. It doesn’t.

While Sarah had a moment of doubt, by faith she redirected her attention to the One who had spoken, and it was in Him that she choose to put her confidence.

This is good news for all of us on our faith journey!

You might have doubts today about what God has said to you. That’s ok. But don’t stop there.

You can trust the One who has spoken – He doesn’t know how to lie.
