#4543 – God’s Peace

Good morning people who continually look to the Lord for your peace

What is God’s peace dependent on?

Like we talked about yesterday with ‘God’s joy in us’, so it is true with God’s peace in us.

Peace is not the absence of problems. Peace is an overflow of a life that is focused on God, who He is, and all that He has done for us. Peace is the very presentness of God in us, with us and for us!

Isaiah 26:3 NKJV You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

There is a connection between our peace, our thoughts, and our trust. You see, what we trust in the most will consume our thoughts, and what consumes our thoughts will either release an overflow of God’s peace in us, or rob us of God’s available peace.

Rather than seeking peace, we should seek the Lord more. Not just for what we want, but for who He is. The more we fix our eyes on Jesus, the more the Prince of peace will guard our hearts and minds.

Peace is in God and from God. Therefore, peace is available for every believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

Is there a shift of focus necessary in your life; a shift that will automatically result in the peace of God being released to you?
