Proverbs 20:4 NIV Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

While some things are to be continually sown (what we looked at yesterday), there are other things that should be done in certain seasons.

David got himself into big trouble when he was at home in a time when kings go to war (2 Samuel 11).

In the natural, it is no good trying to reap a harvest if it is not the season for harvest. Nor is it any good sowing seeds into an unploughed field.

There is order in what should be done. There is also seasons for every activity under the heavens.

Frustration is often connected to not seeing something that it is not the season for.

We need to be wise discerners of the seasons, and we need to be diligent to do what is needed in the present season.
