#4529 – Childlike Trust

Good morning people who love God like little children love their parents

Mark 10:15 NIV Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.

It’s time for a return to childlike faith.

Little children have faith in their parents, even when there is limited or no understanding. In fact, understanding is not the starting point for trust when it comes to little children and their parents.

Relationship is the starting point for children, and it’s relationship that enables the trust. Little children instinctively trust the character and the nature of their parents who haven’t let them down.

Here’s three childlike realities that God wants us to come back to with Him:

The starting point of children is trust, not skepticism.

The starting point of children is love, not withholding.

The starting point of children is reset, not holding on.

God can be trusted.

Today, He invites us to lean into His love and to reset to trusting His unchanging nature.
