Good morning people who wake up and spend time with God throughout your day

John 15:5 NKJV I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Today we will choose to put on either the position of abiding or the position of striving.

Abiding speaks of remaining and staying. While quiet times are a God-ordained part of our lives (as they were part of Jesus’ life) our time with God must not be limited to our quiet time.

The Holy Spirit lives in us 24/7, and therefore we have the profound privilege of remaining in God and God remaining in us every moment of every day!

Our challenge is that we can get so caught up in our day without a thought of God, that striving is the result. We strive for the approval of people and to do the best job possible. We strive to know what to do and to work things out.

All the while we have the Person of the Holy Spirit living in us and He is yearning to be involved in every part of our lives.

I simply want to encourage you to regularly acknowledge the Lord and speak with Him throughout your day. He will never leave your nor forsake you.
