Good morning people who receive from God what you need to choose wisely

The truth is, we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). The truth is, we have everything we need for life and godliness through the power of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:3-4). We did not save ourselves, and nor are we good enough by ourselves. This is good news! This is the Gospel.

But that doesn’t mean we are devoid of choosing to live in freedom or to continue to live in slavery to sin.

Galatians 5:1 NIV It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

‘Freedom’ mentioned here is ‘true freedom (living as we should, not as we please), not fancied freedom (the liberty to do as one pleases).’

‘Stand firm’ mentioned here is ‘to keep one’s standing, to persevere, to persist’. It involves effort and making right decisions.

The truth is no one can take your freedom from you, but you can let yourselves be burdened again. Choose wisely. Choose wisely often.

Today I encourage you to partner with and submit to the same Spirit who saved you. He will empower you to live in and stay in God’s true freedom for you.
