#4364 – Already There

Good morning people who ask God to help you see what already exists

Psalms 13:1-4 NIV How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

King David feels forgotten by God and he is struggling daily with his thoughts.

In this place of desperation, he continues to cry out to God, and he says something that impacted me today. He said, “Give light to my eyes.”

David was crying out for God to bring illumination of truth to his vision. He was asking God to help him to clearly see what was already there.

In a pitch black room, you cannot see what is in the room. But when the light comes on, you can see what was already there.

This is what we need daily! This is what we need personally! This is what we need corporately!
