Good morning people who never stop learning and growing
1 Samuel 2:26 NIV And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favour with the Lord and with people.
Luke 2:52 NIV And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Oh how we need a revolution of people – all people; young and old – with a heart set on learning and growing with both God and people!
And I’m not talking about learning everything there is to know about temporal things. While studying naturally is not wrong (if Father tells you to do it), it must never outgrow or outweigh our focus, passion and pursuit of growing in the most important things.
What are some of the most important things?
From the verses above, yes we see growth in stature, but we also see growth in wisdom and favour.
Wisdom is different to knowledge. It is not so much about the accumulation of natural facts and understanding. Wisdom is from God and it is primarily about the things of God.
