Good morning people who correctly handle the Word of God

If you want to build a case ‘for’ or ‘against’ something – anything – you can.

And unfortunately, many approach God’s Word this way.

I have heard many arguments built on a mishandling of the Word of God, and every time I do, I am grieved.

People too often quote scriptures out of context or in isolation. The result is so often error, not truth.

We must remember that freedom is attached to truth, not to our opinions or the case that we have built.

We must also remember that truth is not subjective. It can never originate from us.

Truth always originates from God and it is only in the correct handling of truth that freedom is found.
