#4217 – As Jesus Did

Good morning people who are like Jesus in this world

Jesus’ life is an example for all of us to follow. As He was, so are we called to be…all of us.

Jesus taught people the truth.

John 8:31-32 NKJV Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

God’s truth is contained in God’s Word. We must know it and we must teach it to others. We must teach it verbally – Jesus did. But we must also teach it by living it – Jesus did.

Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom.

Matthew 4:23 NKJV And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

The gospel of the kingdom is the gospel of God’s authority; on earth as in heaven. We must know it and we must teach it to others. We must teach it verbally – Jesus did. But we must also teach it by living it – Jesus did.

The result of Jesus’ life and ministry was people were set free.
