Good morning people who listen to God and do what He says

God is clear with His instructions. In His Word, we find His will for us clearly revealed. I believe on every significant issue that we face, there is a principle or instruction in the Word of God. Sometimes we need to dig for it, but many times it is crystal clear.

Exodus 15:25b-26 There the Lord made a decree and a law for them, and there He tested them. He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His eyes, if you pay attention to His commands and keep all His decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

The challenge is that often God’s instructions are not what we want to hear. Let’s be really honest. When people have hurt us deeply, we don’t feel like forgiving them and extending grace. Although the Bible is clear, it is once again that age-old wrestle “Am I going to do this my way or God’s way?”

Even if God’s instructions seem more difficult than you think you can handle, God’s way is always best. Today I pray you have wisdom to discern God’s will and strength to do what He says. I pray you are blessed as you hear and obey.
