#4119 – Performing Miracles

Good morning people who God chooses to work with

God was fighting for the Israelites against the Egyptians and He fights on our behalf today. But God doesn’t win the battle devoid of our involvement.

Exodus 14:26-27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.” Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea.

I love the partnership we have with God! It’s His strength! It’s His strategy! But He chooses to perform the miracles so often through us!

The partnership God has with us is not because He needs us due to His lack of ability – not at all. He chooses to use us in the miracle process because He loves doing stuff with us! He loves us and He likes being with us!!! I LOVE THIS ABOUT OUR GOD!!!!

I see this like a family putting up a Christmas tree. The two year old can’t do much but loves being around. Once the tree is up, someone needs to put the star up on top of the tree. It’s obviously way too high for the child but it’s not for the father. The father could reach up and easily put the star on top by himself. But it’s delightful to him and the child when the father picks up the little one and lifts the child up to place the star on top of the tree. God’s like the father and we’re like the little one – lifted up by God to be involved!

I’m smiling because I’m happy; happy to have a heavenly Father who wants me involved in what He is doing. We are so blessed to serve a God who involves us and is personal.
