Good morning people who desire to honour God

My life’s desire is to be pleasing to my God.

The greatest way I can do this is to pursue knowing God better. Intimacy with God and revelation of Who He is, is the best thing we can give our life too. It is first and it is most important.

But it is also good to have a soft heart that asks God to help us live in a way pleasing to Him. I love the heart of David in the following verses.

Psalm 19:13-14 Keep your servant also from wilful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Today I ask the Holy Spirit to help me choose God’s way and not my own. I ask with confidence knowing He loves to respond to prayers from a heart that is turned towards Him. My heart is for God and I’m sure yours is too. Together let’s live this day out of this Psalm.
