Good morning people who do not fight for your own rights

Fighting for our rights seems to be commonplace these days. We do it in our relationships. We do it in the workplace. We do it in the Church.

This is not God’s way.

I’m not talking about taking appropriate action when it is right to do so. Sometimes this is necessary. Yet even this can still be done in a way where our attitudes, actions and words honour God.

I am talking about the attitudes, actions and words that clearly say, “It’s all about me! It’s about what I want!”

I thought it was all about God?

I thought it was all about what He wants?

People falsely believe that it is their right to be the master of their own lives. It is your right to make that choice, but it is a wrong choice and it is a destructive choice.

Romans 8:28 NIV And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

We are called according to God’s purpose.
