Good morning people who live in Jesus and live like Jesus

1 John 2:5-6 NIV But if anyone obeys His word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in Him: Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did.

Obedience is an expression of and an evidence of our love for God.

Saying words is easy. Walking the walk takes more effort, and effort is not a bad or a legalistic word.

Putting off, putting on, fleeing, fighting, making every effort, being diligent…this is all part of living a God-honouring life; this is all part of living like Jesus lived.

Living like Jesus lived is an expression of and evidence of Jesus living in us.

Here’s our WWJD again; “What would Jesus do?” 

I want to remind us that this is a scriptural injunction, not a fanatical statement.

May our lives accurately represent Jesus today.
