#3823 – Christmas Eve

Good morning people who eagerly anticipate all that God is doing

Today is known as Christmas Eve. This is the day before the day when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

“I wonder how the Father felt on this day? I wonder how the Son Himself felt on this day?”

“I wonder how Mary and Joseph felt as they knew the time was near?”

I get the sense that there was anticipation and excitement about what this birth would mean for Mankind. I’m sure for some, there would have been some uncertainty and nervousness too – at least for Mary and Joseph.

And now I feel Father highlight the word Eve in Christmas Eve. Here’s what I am meditating on:

Eve, along with Adam, brought sin into the world through their selfish decisions.

Now on Christmas Eve, we are getting ready to celebrate God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ reversing the curse of sin by making the greatest selfless decision in history!

Today, the anticipation of Christmas Eve is that at this time 2,000 years ago, God was getting ready to reverse the curse that came through the first Eve and Adam.

Oh, praise God for Jesus!
