Good morning people who follow the example of God

Psalm 25:7 NIV Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to Your love remember me, for You, Lord, are good.

I am seeing such incredible truth here in this verse!!!

King David, who had committed adultery and murder, asked God to not remember the sins of his youth and his rebellious ways (what David had done).

This is great and necessary, but he didn’t stop there.

He also asked God to remember him according to God’s good love (who David was because of God).

This is a great prayer and focus for all of us today between us and God.

But it is also a great prayer and focus for all of us today between us and ourselves. In other words, we would do well to not remember the sins of our past but rather remember who we are because of God’s love.

You might say, “I can’t Steve”.

My answer to you is the same as my answer to myself: “We can because God has!!!”

May we all be liberated by this truth today!
