Good morning people who greatly anticipate seeing Jesus face to face

1 Corinthians 13:12 NIV For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

The mirrors in ancient times were not made of glass, but of steel. The result is that the image was often blurred or warped. Constant polishing was needed for any sort of clarity, but even then, it was not perfect.

Presently, we look at Jesus through a lens that is imperfect. Absolutely God can and does bring layers of revelation, but even with this, all too often we look at this revelation through the lens of our reality.

But this will not always be the case!

One day my friends, we will behold Him face to face! No need for a mirror! No need for prophecy, tongues or knowledge! No need!

Oh, what a glorious day! Oh, what a blessed hope!

But let’s not wait till then! Let’s eagerly desire to see Him more clearly now! Let’s relentlessly ask Holy Spirit to give us revelation from our Father in heaven now!

There’s more clarity available now, and an endless amount for all eternity!
