Good morning people who focus on the best for other people

1 Corinthians 13:7 NIV It (LOVE) always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

One of the things that Father has been taking me deeper in over recent times is this: There is a difference between ‘hiding something to protect yourself’, and, ‘covering something to protect others’.

I am not advocating keeping sin hidden so that no one knows and so that you can continue sinning. This is not what I am talking about.

But sometimes in our own struggles, we ‘dump’ on others. Sometimes we ‘place burdens on others’ so that we can feel better. If we are honest, sometimes we do this repeatedly to the same people (or to different people), all-the-while wearing them down with ‘our stuff’.

Again, if you need to talk to someone, talk to someone who can help you walk forward into greater freedom, but let’s also be people who protect those we LOVE by not ‘dumping on them for our own benefit’.

LOVE always protects, and with all my heart, I believe there are some things that we need to take to Jesus and leave them with Him. For some of us, this is the best way that we can LOVE those who we truly LOVE.
