Good morning people who walk in obedience and freedom together

James 125 NIV But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it – not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it – they will be blessed in what they do.

It doesn’t get much clearer than that!

“Do you want to be blessed in what you do?”

“Do you want to live in freedom?”

I do, and I’m sure you do too.

James tells us that blessing and freedom both lie in obedience to what God has told us to do in His Word and by His Spirit. It’s not about being good enough – it’s about freedom and blessing.

And this doesn’t come about casually or half-heartedly. James also talks about looking intently into the perfect law that brings freedom.

“Why?”

Because that’s where freedom and blessing comes from – doing things God’s way.
