Good morning people who walk in the light and truth of Who God is

I feel to write a paraphrase of the scripture we have looked at over the last few days, and my prayer is that Father will bring revelation of what He is saying.

Here’s the verse as it reads in the Bible:

John 16:33 NIV I (Jesus) have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Here’s my paraphrase of what I feel Jesus wants us to hear from Him:

“I have told you many things, not to burden you or weigh you down. In fact, quite the opposite. I have told you many things to empower you by placing My truth in you. My truth will help you navigate through life from a place of victory, despite what physical evidence might try and suggest to you. I have given you My words, that is, My truth, so that you find your peace in Me. All I have said, points to this truth: in Me, you are truly safe and secure. I keep labouring this point, because, in this world, that is, in this life, you will have trouble. I know you wish it could be easier – I too wished My journey was easier – but it’s not the way it is. So, I need to bring you back to the greater truth – the greater part – of what I am saying. I want you to take encouragement from the greater truth. I want you to take it into your heart, not just into your head. Here it is again: I have come over the top of this world and its influencing and controlling power! That’s right, I AM GREATER!!! And the best part is, I AM IN YOU!!! This living revelation is peace to your hearts and minds! I know you don’t fully understand, but this revelation of My peace in you – more accurately, you being in ME, and I AM THE PRINCE OF PEACE – will go above your level of understanding. I AM WITH YOU, ALWAYS!!! Look at Me. fix your eyes on Me! There you go, peace is coming. Let’s walk this way together. The result? Lasting peace, living peace, sustaining peace, satisfying peace. I AM PEACE, and you are in Me.”
