Good morning people who finish the work that Father has given them to do

Colossians 4:17 NIV Tell Archippus: “See to it that you complete the ministry you have received in the Lord.”

Your assignment is complete when Father says your assignment is complete – not before.

I am so grateful Jesus completed His ministry; His mission from Father. I am so grateful that He uttered those words, “It is finished!”

Now there are times when Father changes instructions before a task is complete – just think about His instruction to Abraham sacrificing Isaac.

But the key point to remember is that Father changed the instruction. Abraham didn’t not complete his assignment – Father changed His instruction.

So too must we allow for this…

…but in the absence of a changed command, I pray we are all people who ‘complete the ministry we have received from the Lord’.
