#3548 – Wisdom & Tact

Good morning people who honour Father with their words

Daniel 2:14 NIV When Arioch, the commander of the king’s guard, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him with wisdom and tact.

If you read the preceding verses, Daniel was one of the people included on the list of wise men who were to be put to death.

Yet, in the face of death, Daniel spoke to his appointed destroyer with wisdom and tact.

“How do you speak in difficult times of intense opposition?”

I believe the Spirit of wisdom (as the Holy Spirit is called in Ephesians 1:17) wants to flow freely and accurately through the words of those He lives within – yes, even in times of extreme challenge and hardship.

I pray that today we will be aware of our words, and that when we speak, we will ask ourselves this question:

“Did what I say honour Father and accurately represent Him?”
