Good morning people who are strong even through the battle
Psalm 91:9-10 NIV If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
A few verses earlier we hear about ‘the terror by night and the arrow that flies by day’, yet here we are told that ‘if we make the Most High our dwelling place, no harm will overtake us’.
I think that sometimes we convey the wrong thing as Christians, and that is, if we walk with God, we will have no problems.
This is simply not scriptural, and it is very dangerous, because when something comes against us, we say, “What’s wrong with me? What have I done wrong?”
Here’s the truth: Things will come against us, but they don’t have to overtake us.
The devil came against Jesus, but he did not overtake Him; he did not get the victory over Jesus!
And the same can be true in our lives! You can overcome! You can be victorious! Even if you fall, you can get up again!
