Good morning people who have the Prince of Peace living in them

Isaiah 9:6 NIV For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Jesus Christ is called Prince of Peace.

Sometimes God changes situations. Sometimes He gives us peace in unchanging situations.

The problem is too often we want the changed situation rather than the peace – I am no exception.

But I feel compelled to remind us that peace is not just an abstract ‘thing’.

Peace is Jesus – He is called the Prince of Peace. Real peace is the awareness of Peace Himself living in us!

May a deep, wonderful, settled calm be on you today as you meditate on the Prince of Peace. He is with you and He is in you.
