Good morning people who trust Father with those who have wandered away

When people are wandering, God is working.

God is the Father of the prodigals!

Luke 15:20 NIV So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

I believe the father was ‘watching and praying’ for his son.

Now let’s make a connection between this and the following:

In a time of extreme difficulty, Jesus said the following to His disciples:

Matthew 26:41 NIV Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The temptation was not a temptation to do a ‘bad’ thing. This temptation was to feel it is all too much; it is hopeless; “How can this be?!” and to throw away our confidence in God.

Sometimes we can feel like this when our children, our siblings, our parents, our friends are wandering from God.

But today I encourage you to keep on praying!

When people are wandering and we are praying, God is working!
