Good morning incredibly wonderful and thoroughly loved people of God

Here’s another brilliant definition of the word ‘perfect:

‘Highly suitable for someone or something; exactly right’.

Before Christ, we were unacceptable to God. Our best was never, and could never be enough.

But in Christ, we are now acceptable to God!!! 

Our best and our worst is now superseded by God Himself through Jesus Christ!!!!

Now we are ‘exactly right’ for God!

Hebrews 4:16 NIV Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

We could not approach God’s holy throne of grace with confidence if we were not perfect!

Yet again we see the other side too: we need to ‘receive mercy and grace’ because, we are imperfect (we have faults) even though we are perfect (complete).

Oh the wonderful goodness of God!!!
