Good morning people who are loved deeply by God despite our faults
Yesterday we said: we are perfect, yet imperfect, at the same time.
So let’s have a look again at the scripture that Father started to speak to us from as we look at this phrase, ‘Imperfect, but…’
Hebrews 10:14 NIV For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
I see both in this one verse.
The first part is obvious, but the second part says, ‘those who are being made holy’. I think this speaks to the ‘imperfections’ that we all feel.
We know we are still on a journey. We know we are being changed into His image. We know that we are being made holy.
And this is a wonderful thing, because God knows it too and He is ok with it!
God knows that we are ‘perfect’ now in Him – that is, we are complete now in Him.
Yet He equally knows that we are ‘imperfect’ on our natural journey – that is, we have faults because of some decisions we make.
Yet He loves us deeply!!!
